Raven is letting go of its tool which he has offered to its clients for last 7 years. There has been alot of talk about Google revoking developers access to the AdWords API who are using data scraped from search engine results pages (SERPs) to display ranking and keyword data for their customers. While Raven has been doing this for years, and says it’s successfully gone through two previous Google audits, Google is now choosing to enforce the anti-scraping provision in its AdWords API terms of service. So given the Google’s new hard line, Raven has chosen to stop displaying the scraped data — SERPs rankings and keywords — within its tool set, in favor of keeping on good terms with Google, and retaining access to the AdWords API.
As stated by them ” Raven has decided to remove unauthorized Google data from our platform. As of 5 p.m. PST (GMT-8) on Jan. 2, 2013, we will no longer offer Google rankings and are eliminating our SERP Tracker tool in its entirety. Also, we will remove all data provided to us by SEMRush. You have until then to include any of that data in your reports.” For more on this visit http://raventools.com/blog/scraped-data-serp-tracker/
